Christmas is for.......

playing with the nativity,

riding the reindeer,
playing under the tree,

making chocolates,

watching Christmas movies (that is IF they are left in the DVD player),

playing in the snow,

building snowmen.

All that is left....... Bring it on Santa!

Quick Trip! Las Vegas.

Thanks to Ken and Paula, we took advantage of a free night in Las Vegas. It was nice to get out of town and have a little fun. Dawsyn was so good and enjoyed everything - except the shopping!! Lucky for her we didn't have to much of that to do.

Weekend Away

Cole and I had planned a cruise for our 5th anniversary. However, my lovely hospital stay gobbled up all of our vacation money. So, we took a weekend trip to Salt Lake instead.

We ate at the Rodizo at Trolley Square. Here we are trying to get the water tank thing in the picture... you can see how well we did. Oh well, we had fun.

We also went to the Temple, which it had been a long time.

We shopped, visited and saw the sights of temple square.

We had a lot of fun and are already planning a trip to a different

Temple next year for our anniversary.

But, we missed our baby girl and were glad to get back to her. I don't know if I would have been able to be gone from her for the length of a cruise, so it was probably good that we didn't get to do that. As you can see, her cousins wore her completely out.

Can O Peaches

Since it is that time of year (peach season) and I am way behind on blogging... thought I would post about my little peach lover.

I had just opened a can of peaches (yeah, we had to resort to the canned stuff because I didn't get enough peaches bottled last year) Dawsyn then started throwing a fit in her chair, so I cleaned her up and took her out of the chair. I walked to the other room for a second and noticed that Dawsyn wasn't with me and she was awfully quiet.

Here is what I found......

Yes, she ate the WHOLE CAN of peaches. Can't wait for the good ones. We'll be bottling next week!
