TAT family reunion 2010

Another great family reunion, thanks to Russ, Jacie and their family for planning.

Here are a few of the festivities. I missed some.... like the egg hunt and the memories, but it was lots of fun and a few tears too as we remembered our grandparents.

Friday we went to the Temple. The younger kids did baptisms and the "older" kids did other work in the temple. It was nice to be there as a family.

A little football!

Cole and Dan

Hunter, Dawsyn, Holly & Payton.

Dawsyn sure had plenty of entertainers!

Snacks after our hike around the temple.

Listening to Aunt Carrie tell about the Manti Temple.

On the steps of the temple.

ROCKETS!

The boys made rockets out of two liter bottle and even made parachutes for them.

Wes and Savanah enjoying the rocket show.

Grandpa T watching the rockets and the excitement of each boy as
their rocket flew WAY up in the air.
Ethan and Uncle Russ (the bottle is in the air, but the water is still falling.
If the rain didn't soak the kids, the rocket water did!

Grandma T crafting!

Uncle Russ

While the boys built their rockets, the girls crafted.
We made magnet boards and princess hats and wands.
After the "planned" crafts were finished, some used
their creative sides and made other things with whatever else we had!

Allison, Locke, Joanne, Coquette.

Brynlee, Savanah, Kelsey, Rylie, Grandma T
Trace, Aunt Allison & Jaylee

Crafting away!

Dawsyn loving the stickers and hat.

We all made our own ice cream. YUMMY!

Roll it. Roll it. Roll it.

DISNEYLAND TRIP *Day 4*

Back to Disneyland! More Pooh Bear, Dumbo, Indiana Jones, Jungle Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean and more!

DISNEYLAND TRIP *Day Three*

California Adventure was a blast. The highlights of the day were Tower of Terror, Soaring over California and the World of Color show.
The pictures tell it all. Tower Terror is hilarious!
This was my first time on Tower of Terror!

Bumper BUGS!

Taking in the Watermelon smell. I loved this little ride.
We had to go back so Daws could ride it awake!

Just cute!

Cool glasses for Toy Story ride.

We rode the Carosel A LOT!

DISNEYLAND TRIP * Day Two*

This was Cole's first trip to Disneyland. Does he look excited or WHAT?

Funny, the first ride we got on (Indiana Jones) broke down in the first seconds.
Not a very good first impression for Cole. We had plenty of time for a photo op and to check out the ride in the light. The engineering is amazing!
Dawsyn was tall enough to ride the Matterhorn ride. I wish I could have recorded the squeals to go along with these pictures. SHE LOVED IT!
Who doesn't love a spin in the TEA CUPS?!
Dawsyn loved Dumbo!
Dawsyn was so excited to see Pooh.
and Tigger
Dawsyn got a little scared of Eeyore. This was the best picture that we could get. So we moved on. After we left the line and walked a ways, Dawsyn threw a fit and said,"Dawsyn's turn now." So, apparently is was now time for her turn to give Eeyore hugs.
Of course Dawsyn wanted the biggest Pooh Bear there was.
And the biggest lollipop there was!
The fireworks were awesome. We lucked out and Ken and Paula found us a bench to watch from. It was quite chilly, so Paula and I went to find jackets. Yeah, I spent waaay tooo much on a little jacket and GUESS WHO CLAIMED IT???/
YEP, you guessed it!
She literally ran herself to sleep. She was like the bouncy ball that she had in one of the stores.
Disneyland was a lot of fun. I loved to see Dawsyn's eyes light up when a character came out. (even though she only knows Pooh and his friends and "Mermaid".
